Field Sales Executive

We are looking for sales executives, how combine technical knowledge with sales skills to sell the products we offer and to respond to clients’ queries.

It is anticipate that our clients will usually be technical staff from non-retail organisations, such as factories, public utilities, local authorities and other organisations.

To ensure the needs of both the company and clients are met, the sales executive will be required to liaise regularly with other sales personnel, and colleagues from other departments.

As well as clients, there will also be travel to trade shows and conferences. Considering the international nature of some of our activities regular trips abroad are also likely.

We would expect the successful engineer to have:

  • A solid technical background,
  • Sound judgement and good business sense,
  • Team working ability,
  • The ability to build relationships with clients quickly,
  • Analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Resilience and tenacity,
  • Independence,
  • A full driving licence,
  • Minimum of 4 years sales experience.

LEV Test Engineer

We are looking for Local Exhaust Ventilation Test Engineers, who will be responsible for attending client locations, assessing plant status/condition, suggesting suitable course of action and repairing problematic equipment.

The service engineer will also be required to carry out proactive service work, suggesting improvements to operational procedures and promoting the company’s products and services.

We would expect the successful engineer to have:

  • Technical background,
  • Self-motivation,
  • Good oral and written communication,
  • Planning and organisational skills,
  • Logical thinking,
  • Clean tidy and well presented in appearance and application,
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and principles,
  • The ability to work quickly and under pressure,
  • The ability to manage a varied workload,
  • Good problem-solving skills,
  • The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team,
  • An awareness of health and safety legislation,
  • Good eyesight and normal colour vision,
  • Full driving licence,
  • Minimum 2 years technical service experience,
  • Preferable with formal training (P601/602),
  • Current CSCS and IPAF cards.

Multi-Skill Engineer

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with a positive, proactive approach to both reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) on a range of recycling systems (industrial shredders, conveyors and compactors).

The successful candidate will carry out work from our workshops and service calls on a preventative and reactive basis of customer’s site equipment and other manufacturer’s products and systems at customer premises as required.

Communicating activity and requirements with the customer in a clear and concise manner, and reporting via job sheets the activities carried out and faults found during service before resolving servicing and maintenance issues.

You may also be required to provide assistance in the installation and commissioning of machines, and will be flexible in your approach and be able to carry out tasks with little or no site supervision.

It is anticipated that the candidates will currently be working on plant and equipment, within a maintenance environment, and will demonstrate experience of working with materials handling equipment, automatic process equipment with a solid mechanical background.

We would expect the successful engineer to have:

  • An good technical background,
  • Electrical time served skills,
  • Multi-skill abilities, including  controls, hydraulics and mechanical applications,
  • Good oral and written communication,
  • Logical thinking,
  • Clean tidy and well presented in appearance and application,
  • An understanding of engineering drawings and principles,
  • The ability to work quickly and under pressure,
  • Good problem-solving skills,
  • An awareness of health and safety legislation,
  • Good eyesight and normal colour vision,
  • Full driving licence,
  • Minimum 2 years technical service experience,
  • Formal training (ONC or above relevant engineering discipline),
  • Current CSCS and IPAF cards.
