VEHICLE EXHAUST SYSTEM

Fercell’s range of vehicle exhaust systems, provide a comprehensive solution to the dangers from exposure to vehicle exhaust emissions.

Designed for commercial/industrial applications to minimize the health risk to personnel, the range includes fixed, rail and mobile exhaust extraction systems.

FIXED SYSTEMS
AP Drop Exhaust Extractors

The AP single and twin drop models are supplied complete (fan, support system, exhaust hose and exhaust nozzle) ready for easy installation. The simple and economical solution for stationary locations, with a maximum operating temperature of 100ºC, is available in 7 models with hose diameters ranging from 60mm up to 125mm and air handling capacities from 350 m³/h to 1800 m³/h to accommodate any vehicle size.

AS Exhaust Reel Extractors

Exhaust reels are designed to provide a simple and cost effective storage of exhaust hoses within the vehicle area. They can be used independently, on a track system or alternatively incorporated within a multi reel centralised system.

The AS range is complete with reel, hose and exhaust nozzle (the V models are supplied with direct mounted, high temperature fan sets).

There are two main types of exhaust hose reel, mechanical spring and motorised movement.
AS Mechanical Spring Reel
The spring recoil drum stores exhaust extraction hose tight, at height, until required. The hose is effortless released and locked into position by simply pulling the hose end through the ratchet cycle, before connecting to vehicle exhaust pipe.

There are 18 models in the AS range, with hose diameters ranging from 60mm to 150mm and lengths from 7 metres up to 13 metres.

AS Motorised Reel
The motor driven drum stores exhaust extraction hose tight, at height, until required. The reel is available in two control types, cable mounted control or infra-red remote control, enabling easy operation.

There are 36 models in the AS range, with hose diameters ranging from 60mm to 150mm and lengths from 7 metres up to 13 metres.

CA Rail System

The AP and AS range can be used in conjunction with the rail system, the reel is fitted to a, smooth running trolley, which is easily moved along a straight rail. The rail has been designed to deliver high suction efficiency and is easily connected to a centralized fan set.

The AP units are supplied with balancer to keep the drop hose raised.
REV Semiautomatic System

Used in conjunction with the CS rail system, the REV enables exhaust extraction from moving vehicles.

As the vehicle moves along the length of the rail, the trolley mounted hose attachment follows. Upon the vehicle reaching the end of the rail the travel stop is activated, the exhaust nozzle is released and the trolley returns to its home position.
Exhaust Nozzles
BA Steel Nozzles

Manufactured from stainless steel, the BA range of exhaust nozzles are particularly suited to higher temperature applications.

The BA is equipped with a spring-locking lid, which acts as a shut-off valve when not in use, which clamps the nozzle to the exhaust terminal.

The BA can be supplied in standard type, ‘R’ type (for use with large twin exhaust terminals) and ‘P’ type (for use with 19mm CO gas analysing probe).
There are 14 models in the BA range, with exhaust terminal diameters ranging from 100mm to 200mm.

BG Rubber Nozzles
The BG rubber exhaust nozzle provides an excellent exhaust terminal seal and damage prevention due to its elastic properties.

Each nozzle is also equipped with a wire screen guard, protecting against accidental suction of matter and materials.

The BG can be supplied in standard type, ‘D’ type (for use with twin exhaust terminals), ‘M’ type (with exhaust clamping facility), ‘C’ type (fitted with activated carbon filter) and ‘A’ type (fitted with automatic release).

There are 23 models in the BG range, with exhaust terminal diameters ranging from 60mm to 200mm.

Special Nozzles
As well as the BA and BG range Fercell can supply a range of special exhaust nozzles, designed for more complex exhaust terminals.

The BRA nozzle is stand mounted and designed for applications where a nozzle cannot be easily fitted/clamped or the exhaust terminal is over 200mmø.

The BLP has been designed for use with vertical stack exhaust terminals, making it easier for operatives to connect to normally difficult terminals.

MOBILE SYSTEMS
ELE Portable Exhaust Unit
The ELE is supplied in 2 model variants, working on the same principle of a vertical, manually operated, sliding mechanism (from 220mm up to 900mm).

The inlet nozzle is placed directly behind the exhaust terminal, with the exhaust gases expelled via the 125ºC flexible hose (which can be located in an appropriate exhaust position).
